Few natural winemakers are able to call Eric Texier a friend and mentor, but Cyril Cuche is a lucky man! His estate seems to us like the Garden of Eden — most of their land is either used to grow cereals or left wild, and there’s just 5 hectares of vines in cultivation, mostly Cinsault and Grenache, along with some other typical Languedoc varieties. The Pour de Vrai pet-nat is mostly Cinsault with a splash of Syrah; its bubbles are gentle and fun, and the wine itself tastes of fresh orchard fruit and berries.
