How does shopIN.nyc work?
Make selections from as many stores as you want. They'll all arrive in one package.
Your Order Happen
Once your order is placed, the neighborhood stores prepare it and a team of community members visits each store on the list to make the pickup.
Your order is dropped off for you in one package.
(If you ordered by 10am, it will arrive same day between 4:30-9pm. Otherwise, the next day between 4:30-9pm.)
What days can I get delivery?
How long does delivery take?
We want our neighbors to have an incredible shopping experience, so now all orders placed before 10 am qualify for same-day delivery between 4pm-9pm. All other orders will arrive next day between 4pm-9pm.

Manhattan: ALL ZIP CODES
We are not currently able to deliver orders outside of Brooklyn & Manhattan .
If I shop from different stores, will I receive a single package or multiple packages?
All your items will be carefully packaged and delivered in a single box or a bag, no matter how many stores your selections come from.
Will I be notified ahead of time when the delivery will be made?
Once the order is placed, all you need to do is relax. We’ll notify you via text message to track the status and delivery of the order. You’ll be notified when:
- the package is ready for delivery
- our delivery associate is on their way to deliver for you
- delivery has been made
- an item is not in the store's inventory (we will offer you an alternate item, or refund the item)
All deliveries are made between between 4:30pm - 9pm daily. So... if you made an order around 1pm, we will be in touch the next day before our delivery window of 4:30pm-9pm.
Please note, thanks to you, we're getting overwhelming support for NYC stores. Because of this, some orders might be delayed outside of our typical 4:30-9pm delivery window.
What happens when I make an order?
We celebrate! :-)
Then, we quickly route your order to the neighborhood stores you’ve made your selections from. Once they’ve gotten word and had a moment to gather your items, we stop by each store, pick everything up, and then assemble all your items in one package. Finally, we head to your door, where we deliver your package and send you a text message to make sure you know it’s there.
What if I can’t find the product I’m looking for?
Great question! The whole point of this is that the community tells us what they need. So... please let us know of anything you want the site to carry that it doesn't currently have by clicking here. Or use our chat window at the site to let us know what you need. We’ll try to find it for you in the neighborhood, no matter what it is!
Do I have to be home to accept the package or can it be left at my front door?
You don’t have to be home! In an effort to promote safe distancing, for the time being, all deliveries will be left at your door.
Don't worry, if for some reason we cannot find a safe place to leave your package, we will take it with us and bring it over the next day.
If you have any specific instructions for delivery (lobby access, door codes, etc) just let us know by leaving a little note during the checkout process. We will send you a text message when we drop off the package, to make sure you know it’s there.
Do you ensure contactless delivery?
Customer and delivery partner safety is our top priority. So, all deliveries, as well as pickup, are contactless.
How can I return an item?
While returns are subject to each individual store's return policy, we are happy to help facilitate this process. We do not charge a return fee, and will be happy to schedule a pickup with one of our drivers.
